On May 28, 2021, COSCO（Lianyungang）Liquid Loading & Unloading Equipment Co., Ltd. welcomed the factory acceptance of the 16-inch LNG unloading arm receiving station. The 16-inch LNG unloading arm is the first set of domestically-produced large-diameter LNG unloading arms successfully developed by COSCO（Lianyungang）Liquid Loading & Unloading Equipment Co., Ltd. Since 2004, the company has been deeply involved in the LNG loading and unloading field. In 2016, they successfully developed and tested the first domestically-produced 16-inch LNG unloading arm, obtaining an invention patent. In November 2017, the company successfully signed a sales contract with a Vietnamese company for four 16-inch LNG unloading arms, achieving an international sales breakthrough.

At 4 PM, with a loud "disconnect" command, the emergency release device disengaged as expected, the unloading arm closed at both ends, and the residual liquid nitrogen vaporized. The white gas rushed out, creating an impressive scene. The clients at the scene were extremely satisfied, taking out their phones to capture the moment and expressing admiration for the disconnecting process. The acceptance was a complete success.
